                           their rights.

                       3.  Conduct  a  study  to Recognize vulnerable  children and reasons for  their
                           vulnerability.

                       4.  These reports are taken to the notice of District and state government officials and
                           state government to strengthen child rights Protection.

                    Mrs. Sharada garu  DCPO created awareness  on Child marriages.  Child  marriages  are
                    crime. Due to poverty and lack of awareness parents are doing child marriages, drop
                    outing   from the schools are one of the reasons for child marriages. Parents and Presets
                    also punished under prohibition  of child marriages act 2006.Punishment will 2 years
                    imprisonment and one lakh fine. Anyone can complaint to collector, DO, CDPO, Village
                    secretary through written or oral.  We can also call 1098 toll free number.

                    DLO Mr. Sameer garu created awareness on Labor act.

                    DSWO Mrs. Chintamani garu created awareness on social protection schemes.


                    Coordinator V Diwakar consolidated the points and says to thanks to participate program
                    and active involvement, given voluble information related to children issues. In these
                    meeting  BIRDS  Executive  Director  V.  Paul  Raja  Rao,  Child  help  line  coordinator
                    V.S.Diwakar, Teachers and 40 children from 6 High schools were participated.

                    Children take lead Gram Panchayt Office Report:

                    On the Occasion of National Girl Child Day BIRDS has organized Children Take Lead Gram
                    Panchayat Office on 11  October in Mutyalapadu village, Chagalamarri Mandal, Nandyal

                         Created awareness on child rights i.e. Right to survival, right to development, Right
                           to Protection and Right to Participation

                         Shared the best stories of girls in the meeting for the motivation to others
                         Girls’ issues addressed with government officials.

                         Children especially girls take the lead as role of Panchayat Secretary.

                         Involved the key female influencers on the day of international girl child for the
                           motivation for the girls to build their bright future.
                         Girls are very happy to get this opportunity on the occasion of IDG event in village
                           Panchyat Office.
