BIRDS Coordinator V.S Diwakar interacted with the participants on program of the day,
he started the discussion on child rights situation in COVID pandemic situation. Child
rights are protected are violation in pandemic situation. Participants are saying some
issues related to children. Children are facing Mental and Physical problems due to
Carona‐19 Pandemic. Schools are closed, they are not going to school, COVID‐19
pandemic parents are loss their livelihood some children are not get Nutrition food.
Children are mentally disturbed they have physical activity.
After a small discussion Coordinator form 4 groups on 4 objectives. Children discussed
issues and presented their discussion points through charts to the floor.
Coordinator V Diwakar consolidated the points and says to thanks to participate program
and active involvement, given voluble information related to children issues. In these
meeting BIRDS Executive Director V. Paul Raja Rao, Child help line coordinator
V.S.Diwakar, Teachers and 40 children from 6 High schools were participated.
Mandal Level Consultation with Children on Child Rights Report BIRDS
organization has organized Allagadda Mandal level consultation meeting with children
on child rights with the support of UNICEF, AP ARC MAHITHA at BIRDS Training center
Mutyalapadu on 14 July 2022.

BIRDS Executive Director Mr. Paul Raja Rao given introduction about the Child Rights in
Andhra Pradesh and Telangana Status and Actions, UNICEF and Alliance for Child rights
program. UNICEF is a working for children in international, Child health, nutrition,
protection and Education. BIRDS working for children in Chagalamarri and Allagadda
mandal, collaboration with Alliance for child rights. BIRDS conducted awareness program
to the children and their parents on Child rights and child protection.
