2. Pharmacy Services
BIRDS DORIS Community Health Centre pharmacy have a good number of medicines.
(Nurse) Pharmacist, Ms Vasantha, is available round the clock. Here, I would like to
mention the work by the pharmacist. He has been maintaining the registers very well
regarding each medicine whether it is given free of cost, 50% of the cost or at the free of
cost, stock input, output etc., The Medicines that are available presently in the pharmacy
can be purchased at 50% cost.

3. Lab Services
The laboratory of BIRDS DORIS Community Health Center associates with Path care Labs
Pvt. Ltd. for special Laboratory Services as follows and linked with our college
pathological department for lab services.

1. Thyroid Functions
2. CSF

3. Lipid profile
4. Blood percentage
5. HIV/ AIDS

6. COVID ‐19 TEST
Laboratory helped a lot for poor community near villages in the three clusters i.e.,
Allagadda, Chagalamarri, Rudravaram and BIRDS College and BIRDS School children.

4. Ambulance Services
During the reporting year 2022, BIRDS DORIS CHC Provided Free Ambulance services to
very sick, and Outpatients, this was very much useful to the poor patients who can’t
afford, and we give telephone number to all the villages in any emergency our ambulance
will reach to them and provide the free transportation services to BIRDS DORIS CHC. We
have also carried Covid patients to pick up and dropping facility from the door step to the
hospital as well as carried dead bodies from the hospitals to burial grounds.

2.3 Eleanor and Shearers Boarding Home

During 2022 this project is being supported by Doris family, (mainly) and contributions
are received from Bill Shearer’s family and “Eine Welt EV” (coordinated by Eva Schupp,
and Raimund Arnold) and many Individual donors. We are so much thankful to all of them
for their kind generosity to help poor Boys and Girls for their education.

Life in a hostel makes a student self‐dependent. It makes him or her smart, active and
disciplined. It gives the students an ample chance to learn how to lead an independent
and responsible life. It plays a vital role in the development of the personality of the
students. Students of different personalities, characters, family background, habits and
tastes live together under the same roof
