First Compassion Project: SAMPURNA CHILD DEVELOPMENT CENTRE – IN 475 Kalachatla Village, Peaupally Mandal, Kurnool District. A.P

The compassion International the organization which is working for the all round development of the Children with collaboration with Caruna Bal Vikas, Chennai has made agreement to work for the Children belonging to the orpahan, semi-orphan and poor children of BPL families of Kalachatla Village through BIRDS. The Compassion International will provide the grant to cater the needs of the Children who has been given sponsorship by its supporters.

BIRDS-SAMPURNA CDC started in Kalachatla in June 2012 with 215 children

To bring out the all-round development of the sponsor children through

• Physical Development
• Spiritual Development
• Cognitive Development
• Socio Emotional Development Of the children

By providing the above components the children will acquire the following:

1. Physical Development: To Experience reduced incidence of illness, notional deficiencies and physical impediments. Under this the children will be provided with Nutritious food. Awareness Programmes to both the Children and Parents on Nutrition and balanced food , Seasonal Diseases, Child personal Hygiene Practices, Social Behaviour, Sexual behavior, children body changes, Child protection, abuses, Child Marriages. Apart from this the children who fell sick will be taken care and appropriate Medical treatment will be given.

2. Spiritual Development: will become responsible and good citizens of the country. Under this awareness programmes will be conducted for both the parents and the children and Moral values will be taught.

3. Spiritual Development: To study well and acquire good knowledge and completes the studies without any hindrance. Under this the children will be provided with Educational Material, School Uniform and the School fees will be paid. After the School they will be given extra coaching by the tutors to get good marks. The latent talents will be bringing out and necessary encouragement and training will be provided accordingly. The children will also be provided with sports material.

4. Social Emotional Development: the children will apply self and social awareness in making responsible life choices. Under this awareness programmes will be conducted to both the Children and the Parents Ecological Concerns, Bad habits, social behavior, conduct plantation programmes at the village, Field Trip, Talent Expo, etc.

The Community in Saddam Colony/village - belong to destitute and vulnerable communities (Budaga Jangala, Dakkali, Dasari, and Pusali Community) which is in Allagadda Mandal in Kurnool district of AP.
