The global outbreak of coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) has affected more than 190 countries. In India, as of 21 June 2020, the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare has confirmed a total of 4,10,461 confirmed COVID-19 cases, recovered 2,27,755 and 13,254 deaths in the country. The primary concern at BIRDS is for a rapid deescalation of the novel coronavirus COVID-19. The impact of the pandemic has started to emerge as the country is in the lockdown situation, and the long-term consequences will be far-reaching and particularly extreme for the most vulnerable in India.
Service to humanity is service to God In these difficult times of Corona COVID-19 Lockdown BIRDS extends helping hand to the poor and needy people at different locations in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana.
In continuation of its COVID-19 relief activities provided groceries (Toor dal-1.5kgs, Wheat Rava-2Kgs Refundoil-2kgs) along with 2-soaps 2-sanitizers, and mask to Communities.
